Cacao, Sound & Ceremony

As the winter sun sets, partake in the richness and mystery of the Cacao Ceremony, a feast for the mind and senses centered on the transformational qualities of the ancient cacao plant. This immersive experience will reveal the many properties of Theobroma cacao amidst a meditative soundscape combining sound technology, soaring female vocals, overtone singing and traditional Indigenous music. Time will stand still as the flavor, fragrance and mysteries of the Cacao unfold.

Cacao, Sound & Ceremony combines an enchanting soundscape with an in-depth introduction to the history, nutrition and spiritual role of the cacao plant. A traditionally-prepared cacao drink created by Reverence Chocolate and Cacao Ceremonies Perth will connect participants to their senses within this ceremonial experience created by plant medicine experts Willow and Catherine Francis. This event takes place with the generous assistance of the WA Maritime Museum.
