Soak & Steam

Soak, the outdoor elemental experience with a difference returns bringing the comforts of a hot bath in winters cold. You are invited to submerge, unwind and watch the world go by in Fremantle’s glorious coastal landscape.

This year to extend the options for wild immersion we introduce the mobile Sauna – Steam! Steam is inspired by travel stories, rugged landscapes and European naturist traditions.

Steam’s hot sauna installation is co-located with Soak on the raw winter coast of Fremantle. Between steaming and soaking rounds bathers are invited to sit by the cool of the Indian Ocean, listen to maritime sounds, feel the wintery sea breeze wash over you, welcome the flight of the sea birds and find beauty in the horizon. So, bring your bathers and prepare to be pampered. Refreshments, assorted lotions and treats provided.

Soak & Steam are presented by local artist Jesse Lee investigating in the art of experience.

We love winter weather, but this event is weather dependent if it’s too wild and wet our plans might change.
