Walyalup Waters

Submerge yourself in the salty spirit of Walyalup

Take a deep dive into our coastal connections with this richly engaging exhibition featuring nine Western Australian artists. Working across painting, drawing, moving image, poetry, print and immersive installation, the artists share a deep fascination in submerged ecologies and stories from the sea.

Inspired by the bodies of water that flow through and around Walyalup | Fremantle, Walyalup Waters celebrates the sublime power and beauty of the ocean whilst uncovering elements of the uncanny, contested and the unexpected within these watery depths.

Curated by – Yvonne Doherty featuring WA Artists; Erin Coates, Ross Potter, Grace Slaven, Sandy McKendrick, Anna Nazzari, Jo Darbyshire, Amok Island, Cass Lynch and Ian Daniell.
