Moort Kaalak – Family Home-fire

Join us for a Makuru (winter) night of Aboriginal storytelling, both ancient and contemporary.

In Noongar culture, the campfire represents home. The Noongar word kaalak means both home and campfire. Aboriginal Elders, writers, educators, musicians, artists, and kids will come together in a unique, family-friendly evening of storytelling and performance of sand and firelight.
